But skin has always been the part of aesthetics I love thinking through most—understanding what I’m seeing, figuring out what needs attention first, and creating a plan that actually makes sense for the person sitting in front of me.
WHAT DOES A SKIN STRATEGIST ACTUALLY DO?
A Skin Strategist doesn’t begin by asking which treatment you want.
I begin by looking at the condition of your skin, what you’re seeing, what you’ve tried, and what you want to improve.
THEN I DECIDE:

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME.
I’m Star. I’m a mom of three, a business owner, and someone who has spent more than 20 years building a career in an industry I genuinely love.
Hawaiʻi is home, but growing up in Europe and Japan gave me a love for different cultures, food, travel, and the many different ways beauty and self-care can look around the world.
Outside the treatment room, I’m usually doing something that has absolutely nothing to do with skincare.
I love being around horses, playing pickleball, working in my garden, cooking, baking, traveling, and finding really good Japanese or Korean food.
I’m also naturally curious.
I like learning, questioning why we do things a certain way, and figuring out whether there might be a better way to do them.
That part of my personality probably explains a lot about the way I approach skin, too.
At this stage of my life, I’m less interested in perfection and much more interested in feeling good, aging well, staying curious, and building a life—and a business—that actually feels like me.
That’s the same energy I want women to feel when they come to All Star.
